Ornamented Rakhis

• Multicolored Silk threads
• A pair of scissors
• Sitaras, golden threads, beads, dry flower petals
• A piece of hard and bright shining paper
• Double sided tap
• Washing brush with bristles

• Cut the multicolored threads according to the required size.
• Take the shining piece of paper and cut it into star shape or any other shape you like.
• Make small holes in the centre of the cut paper so that silk threads can be easily tied to it (put the cut piece at the centre of the threads).
• Now stick sitaras, beads, dry flower petals etc. with the help of the double sided tape.
• Take the washing brush and run it through the silk threads to make them more fluffy and loose. It gives a better look to the rakhi threads.
